The film is a collaboration between several directors, inspired by the homonymous poem collection written by C.K. Williams, including work by Edna Biesold, Gabrielle Demeestere, Alexis Gambis, Brooke Goldfinch, Shripriya Mahesh, Pamela Romanowsky, Bruce Thierry Cheung, Tine Thomasen, Virginia Urreiztieta, and me. I wrote and directed the adaptation of “On learning on a friend’s illness”, featuring James Franco and Zach Braff. Very honored and proud to be part of this adventure.
